Jeffrey Yoshimi is a Professor of Philosophy and Cognitive Science at the University of California, Merced, where he joined as a founding faculty member in 2004. His research focuses on the structure of consciousness, its neural correlates, and computational modeling using neural networks and dynamical systems theory. He also explores visualizations to enhance scientific reasoning, education, and citizen science initiatives.
