Jeffrey W. Danese

Jeffrey W. Danese is a Lecturer in the Department of Psychology and affiliated with the College of Humanities and the Arts at San José State University. His roles include teaching courses such as Psychology of Religious Experience, Abnormal Psychology, and APA Writing Workshop. He holds a Master of Arts in Religious Studies and Cognitive Sciences from UC Santa Barbara (2003), a Master of Science in Psychology from Eastern Washington University (1995), and a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Florida (1986). He pursued PhD programs in Religious Studies at Florida State University and in Human Sciences at Saybrook University, focusing on topics like moral psychology and science-technology-society interfaces.

Teaching & Experience: He has taught at San José State University (2007–present), Seattle Central Community College (1997–2007), and Florida State University (2003–2007). His international experience includes residencies in Germany, Taiwan, Thailand, Zambia, and extensive travel across Asia, Africa, and Europe.

Licenses: Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC) since 1995 and Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC, pending) in California.
