Jeffrey Turner

Jeffrey Turner, MD, is an Associate Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Nephrology at Yale School of Medicine. He is the Co-Director of the Yale Hypertension Clinic and Director of the Nephrology Elective. His clinical expertise includes kidney diseases, hypertension, and related comorbidities. Dr. Turner is actively involved in clinical research, leading the Yale Nephrology Clinical Trials Office and collaborating on studies involving cardiorenal therapies and diuretic resistance. He holds a BS from San Diego State University and an MD from New York Medical College.

His work emphasizes translational research with a patient-centered approach.

Teaching & Leadership:

As Course Director for the Yale Physician Associate Program, Dr. Turner mentors trainees across multiple levels.
