Jeffrey Rings, Ph.D. is an Associate Professor in the Department of Psychology at the University of Colorado Denver. He serves as Director of the Psychology Clinic and Coordinator of Clinical Training within the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. His expertise spans clinical supervision, ethical practice, grief counseling, crisis intervention, and veteran mental health. Rings focuses on multicultural considerations in clinical work and suicide risk assessment/prevention strategies.
His research interests include the psychological impact of military service, particularly among Black post-9/11 veterans and female veterans, as well as adolescent digital behavior ethics. He has contributed to the development of culturally-sensitive interventions like Man Therapy and evaluates programs such as first-year academic seminars to improve student outcomes.
