Jeffrey R. Long

Jeffrey R. Long is the C. Judson King Distinguished Professor at the University of California, Berkeley. His research focuses on developing innovative materials for clean energy and sustainability, including metal-organic frameworks for CO₂ separation, hydrogen storage, and catalysis. He collaborates with the College of Arts and Sciences and holds 23 patents.

Education: Ph.D. in Chemistry from Harvard University (1995).

Research Interests: Pioneering work in materials science for sustainable energy solutions, including chemically-selective cooperative adsorption, porous materials, and gas separation technologies. His contributions bridge chemistry and engineering to address global environmental challenges.
