Jeffrey Pollak, MD is the Robert I. White, Jr. Professor of Radiology and Biomedical Imaging at Yale School of Medicine. Dr. Pollak received his medical degree from Columbia University College of Physicians & Surgeons, completed his Diagnostic Radiology residency at Columbia-Presbyterian Medical Center, and undertook his Vascular & Interventional Radiology fellowship at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. He has been at Yale University School of Medicine for over two decades, serving as section chief and director of the fellowship program in Vascular & Interventional Radiology.
Dr. Pollak's research focuses on embolotherapy for vascular abnormalities and malformations, minimally invasive tumor treatments including ablation techniques, and management of hereditary hemorrhagic telangiectasia. Dr. Pollak directs the Yale Hereditary Hemorrhagic Telangiectasia Program, the first of its kind established worldwide in the early 1990s.
