Jeffrey Davis is an Adjunct Faculty at Carnegie Mellon University's School of Architecture with over 30 years of architectural design expertise. His practice focuses on diverse building types including educational, corporate, healthcare, and residential structures. As founding principal of FortyEighty Architecture, he leads projects from conceptualization through construction, emphasizing the balance between aesthetic and performative aspects of design.
His research explores context-responsive design, structural integration, environmental impact minimization, and human-scale building considerations. This approach has earned his firm multiple national awards for design excellence and sustainability.
