Dr. Jeffrey Birnbaum is an Associate Professor of Pediatrics and Public Health at SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University and Executive Director of the Health & Education Alternatives for Teens (HEAT) Program. He specializes in adolescent medicine, with a focus on HIV treatment/prevention, LGBTQ+ youth, and gender-affirming care.
