Jeffrey Anderson

Jeffrey Anderson is Professor and Director of the MAGES program at Georgetown University's Walsh School of Foreign Service, with a joint appointment in the Department of Government. His research examines comparative political economy and European integration, with specialization in German politics and EU governance.

Education includes PhD in Political Science from Yale University and BA from Pomona College. He co-leads the Heartlands Transformation Network analyzing economic transitions in industrial regions of Europe and America.

Publications include German Unification and the Union of Europe (Cambridge, 1999) and the edited volume The End of the West? (Cornell, 2008). Recognitions include Germany's Officer's Cross of Merit for contributions to transatlantic academic exchange.
