Jeffery Doherty

Jeffery Doherty serves as an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Food Science at the University of Massachusetts Amherst while holding the primary position of Chief Chemist at the Massachusetts Pesticide Analysis Laboratory.

His research centers on human exposure to pesticides and their environmental fate and transport mechanisms, operating at the intersection of environmental chemistry, toxicology, and analytical chemistry. This work directly supports pesticide monitoring and environmental risk assessment initiatives.
