Jeff Kiesner

Jeff Kiesner is an Associate Professor in the Department of Developmental and Social Psychology at the University of Padova, with expertise spanning developmental psychology, social psychology, clinical psychology, and psychoneuroendocrinology.

His primary research areas include:

• Individual differences in symptom experience associated with the menstrual cycle, particularly Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder (PMDD)
• Sexual function and dysfunction among women, including problems with desire, arousal, and orgasm
• Persistent Genital Arousal Disorder/Genito-Pelvic Dysesthesia (PGAD/GPD)

Future research will incorporate neuroimaging and neuroendocrine studies to understand neurological links between physical and psychological symptoms, leveraging advanced facilities including High Density EEG, Eye-Tracking Systems, and MRI & PET scanners.
