Jeff Gardner

Jeff Gardner, Ph.D., is an Adjunct Professor at Regent University. He earned his MA in Medieval History from the University of Kansas and a Ph.D. in Communication and Media from Regent University, focusing on social media applications by Middle Eastern Christian refugees escaping the war with ISIS.

Dr. Gardner has over a decade of experience in media, writing and photographing for international publications across North America, Europe, Asia, Africa, and the Middle East. His work has been featured in numerous national and international outlets.

He is deeply interested in global issues affecting displaced populations and combines this with his media expertise to document refugee narratives. Outside academia, he enjoys exploring mountainous wilderness areas, drawing from his upbringing between the Rockies and Wasatch ranges.
