Jeff Ek

Jeff Ek is an Associate Professor in the Design program and Chair of the Marketing Department at Ferris State University's College of Business. He teaches courses in photography, web design, and digital imaging. Prior to joining the faculty in 1999, he managed the graphics department as a designer in the Media Production Center at Ferris.

His research interests focus on integrating graphic design principles into marketing strategies and digital media innovation. He actively engages in professional development through design conferences and workshops, and contributes to educational technology advancements in career technical fields. His presentations address topics ranging from accreditation processes to digital imaging applications in both print and web contexts.

Jeff serves on advisory boards for the Kent Career Technical Center and Mecosta Osceola Intermediate School District Graphic Arts programs. He is a member of AIGA and advocates for design excellence through professional engagement.
