Jeannette Rogowski

Jeannette Rogowski is a Professor in the Health Policy and Administration department at The Pennsylvania State University. Her research focuses on neonatal care, health disparities, and maternal outcomes, with a particular emphasis on very low birth weight infants and racial concordance in nursing.

• Current projects include measuring neonatal regionalization (funded by NICHD, 2023-2026) and analyzing racial inequalities in delivery hospital selection.
• Her work aligns with UN Sustainable Development Goals, particularly those addressing health equity.

Recent publications examine maternal vulnerability indices, preterm infant outcomes across health systems, and sickle cell trait impacts on maternal health.
