Jeanelle VerWayne

Dr. Jeanelle VerWayne is an Assistant Professor in the Division of Behavioral and Health Sciences at Indiana Wesleyan University (IWU), serving as a full-time faculty member in the online BSW program since 2018. She holds a PhD in Higher Education Leadership (Notre Dame of Maryland University, 2023), an MSW from IUPUI (2001), and a BSW from Taylor University (2000). Her career bridges clinical practice and education, with 13 years as a school-based therapist in Indianapolis addressing mental health, trauma, and socioeconomic challenges.
