About
Jean-Philippe Roblin is an Associate Professor at the Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Chimie de Clermont Ferrand (ENSCCF), part of Université Clermont Auvergne. He joined ENSCCF as an ATER (teaching-research contract) in 1998 after completing a PhD in organic chemistry in Toulouse and a postdoctoral internship in Switzerland. Since 2001, he has held the rank of Associate Professor. His research focuses on nitrogen heterocycle synthesis for catalytic complex development, and later shifted to luminophore materials for applications in optics. He has served as Communications Officer for ENSCCF (2001–2008) and Head of the Integrated Preparatory Cycle (2009–2015). Currently, he is Deputy Director of Studies for the CPI of the Gay-Lussac Federation at SIGMA Clermont.
Research Interests: Roblin’s work spans organic synthesis, catalysis, and materials science. He contributed to developing luminophores within the Luminescent Materials (ML) theme at the Clermont-Ferrand Institute of Chemistry (ICCF). His expertise bridges fundamental chemistry with applied materials for optical technologies.
Roles & Affiliations: Member of the Inorganic Materials (IM) team and Luminescent Materials (ML) theme at ICCF. No recent publications listed in the provided text.
