Jean-Marc Dreyfus

Professor Jean-Marc Dreyfus is a Reader in Holocaust Studies at the University of Manchester's History Department. His research focuses on genocide anthropology, Holocaust memory, and post-war reconstruction. He supervises doctoral students on topics like Holocaust denial and Jewish history in Romania.

Key research projects include diplomats' reports on Nazi persecution, corpse management in mass violence, and the Editionsprojekt Judenverfolgung archival project. His teaching includes courses on Holocaust sources, consequences of the Holocaust, and Jewish European history.
