Jean Knox

Jean Knox is an Associate Professor at the University of Exeter, where she serves as Academic Director for the Doctor of Clinical Practice (Research) and Doctor of Psychoanalytic and Psychodynamic Psychotherapy Clinical Practice Doctorate in Clinical Practice. A psychiatrist and Jungian analyst, she has held leadership roles as Chair of the Trustees of the British Psychotherapy Foundation and BPF representative on the British Psychoanalytic Council.

Her research and teaching focus on the intersection of attachment theory, developmental neuroscience, and psychotherapy, with extensive experience in training and supervising therapists across multiple institutions. She previously served as Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Analytical Psychology and is an honorary member of the International Attachment Network.
