Jean Kahler

Jean Kahler is a Lecturer at Purchase College, SUNY. She holds a BA from Smith College and an MFA from Sarah Lawrence College. Her work focuses on health communication and advocacy, particularly in HIV prevention, LGBT health, and sexual/reproductive health. She has contributed to interventions for heterosexual couples, incarcerated program participants, and South African township clinics, as well as pediatric dental health initiatives for urban immigrant communities.
