Jean-Daniel Boissonnat

Jean-Daniel Boissonnat is a Research Director at INRIA and a member of the DataShape team. He held an invited professorship at the Collège de France (2016-2017) on the Chair of Informatics and Computational Sciences. His research focuses on topological data analysis, aiming to uncover geometric and topological structures in complex data. He leads the ERC project GUDHI (Geometric Understanding in Higher Dimensions) and serves as an associate editor for the Journal of the ACM and Discrete and Computational Geometry.
