Jean-Christophe Volia

Jean-Christophe Volia is a Lecturer in Human Resources (HR) and Educational Manager of the bachelor's degree 'Human Resources Management and Development Officer' at the Faculty of Law, Economics, Management and Political Science, University of Angers (UCO). Previously, he held executive roles in large French corporations. He earned a Doctorate in Management Sciences (2020, University of Paris), a Master's in Research and Management (2016, Aix-Marseille University), and specialized degrees in Environmental Management (2014) and HR (2012).

His research focuses on HR/CSR themes: management of religious matters in the workplace, diversity/inclusion, Quality of Work Life (QVT), and sustainable development. He explores how organizations navigate religious diversity, legal compliance, and ethical challenges in multicultural environments. Notable contributions include studies on religious dress codes in French companies and multinational management strategies in Madagascar.

He actively participates in academic networks like CEDAG (University of Paris) and AGRH's research groups on sensitive topics and diversity. He organizes national/international workshops, such as 'Fait religieux et management: méthodologies pour sujets sensibles' (2020). Teaching includes courses on CSR, intercultural management, and digital transformation of HR roles at bachelor/MBA levels.
