Jean-Christophe Corvol

Jean-Christophe Corvol is a Professor of Neurology at Pitié-Salpêtrière Hospital, where he serves as Head of the Department of Neurology. He is also Co-President of the French Clinical Research Network on Parkinson's Disease and Movement Disorders (NS-PARK) and Co-Leader of the "Molecular Physiopathology of Parkinson's Disease" research team at the Institut du Cerveau - ICM.

His research focuses on the molecular bases, genetic modifiers, and pharmacology of Parkinson's disease, employing a cross-disciplinary approach that combines experimental models, genome-wide association studies, imaging, and genetic analyses.

Jean-Christophe Corvol has published over 200 original articles in peer-reviewed journals (H index=56) and is actively involved in academic societies, including the French Societies of Neurology, Pharmacology, and Neuroscience, and serves on the Editorial Board of Movement Disorders.
