Professor Jaya Dantas is Dean International at Curtin University with 35 years of global health experience. Her research centers on refugee health, gender equity, and post-conflict recovery in vulnerable populations.
Research Focus: Health equity for displaced populations, gendered health impacts, reproductive health in conflict settings, and community-based intervention strategies.

- National Teaching Award (2010)
- PHAA Fellowship (2013)
Current Projects: EMPOWER peer mentoring for refugee women, SAMBA physical activity program for South Asian mothers, and studies on COVID-19 impacts in vulnerable communities.
International Engagement: Regular delegate to UN Commission on the Status of Women and consultant for health programs in Africa and Asia.
