Jay Walton

Jay Walton is a Professor in the Department of Mathematics at Texas A&M University. His research focuses on applied mathematics with applications in biomechanics, fracture mechanics, and computational modeling. He received the 2010 Association of Former Students Teaching Award for his educational contributions.

His current research explores mathematical modeling of biological systems, including biochemical reaction networks, cellular iron trafficking, and fluid dynamics. Work integrates advanced computational methods to address complex biological questions with sparse data constraints.
