Jay Rubin

Jay Rubin is an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Management Communication at the Leonard N. Stern School of Business, New York University, where he has been teaching since 2008. He also serves as an External Lecturer at Copenhagen Business School and has taught at Johannes Kepler University in Austria.

His expertise lies in management and organizational communication, with a focus on business communication, reputation management, persuasion, and intercultural competence. He has designed and delivered courses for undergraduate, MBA, and international summer programs.

Prof. Rubin received recognition for his contributions at NYU's School of Professional Studies, earning both a Teaching Excellence Award and an Outstanding Service Award.

With a professional background in cable television and magazine editing, he transitioned into corporate consulting, working with clients such as Bain & Company, CNBC, Disney/ABC Media Networks, Johnson & Johnson, and the U.S. Navy. He has contributed to curriculum development, particularly in public relations and corporate communication programs, and continues to integrate practical insights into his teaching.
