Jay Mistry

Jay Mistry is Professor of Environmental Geography at Royal Holloway, University of London, and Associate Director of the Leverhulme Centre for Wildfires. Her research integrates biodiversity conservation with Indigenous knowledge using participatory video methods.

Key projects focus on fire governance and livelihood support in South America and Asia. Recognized by the Royal Geographical Society's Busk Medal (2015) for conservation policy impact.
