Jassie Rios is a Lecturer of Studio and Digital Art at the Department of Art, Rome School of Music, Drama, and Art, Catholic University of America. Her interdisciplinary practice bridges drawing, experimental music, sound art, and instrument design.

Research Interests: Rios explores hybridity, code-switching, and Indigenous Mexican culture through conceptual drawing, sound art, and hacked utilitarian objects. Her work interrogates the intersection of humans, the natural environment, and mobile recording technologies via improvisation and chance systems.
