Jason Yeung is an Assistant Professor of Teaching in the Department of Earth, Ocean and Atmospheric Sciences at the University of British Columbia (UBC), part of the Faculty of Science. He holds a geological engineering background and is deeply committed to education as a first-generation university attendee. His teaching philosophy emphasizes active learning, inclusivity, and bridging industry experience with academia. Education: Yeung graduated from UBC’s Geological Engineering program, which shaped his career trajectory.
