Jason White

Jason White is the Director of the Connecticut Agricultural Experiment Station and serves as Adjunct Faculty at the Stockbridge School of Agriculture (University of Massachusetts) and the Department of Chemistry (University of Texas El Paso). His research focuses on nano-enabled sustainable agriculture, phytoremediation, and environmental toxicology.

Trends include disease suppression in crops, nanomaterial interactions with co-existing contaminants, and novel strategies for soil/water remediation. Research consistently demonstrates the potential of nanotechnology to transform agricultural practices while addressing ecological risks.

Dr. White leads a globally collaborative research network, partnering with institutions like Harvard University, Rutgers University, and international universities in Singapore, Italy, China, and Brazil. His program is supported by $5.1 million in competitive grants. As Director, he oversees interdisciplinary teams at the Connecticut Agricultural Experiment Station, advancing nano-enabled solutions for agriculture and environmental health.
