Jason Talevski

Dr Jason Talevski is a postdoctoral research fellow at Deakin University's Institute for Physical Activity and Nutrition (IPAN), within the School of Exercise and Nutrition Sciences, Faculty of Health. He holds the title of Honorary Fellow and is actively engaged in research on healthy ageing, osteoporosis, fracture prevention, and health literacy. His work bridges clinical, public health, and digital health domains, with a strong focus on equity and patient-centered care pathways.

Dr Talevski's research focuses on improving health outcomes in older adults through innovative care models. His work emphasizes post-fracture care optimization, health literacy in cardiac and musculoskeletal conditions, and equitable access to digital health services. He employs mixed-methods approaches, including codesign with patients and clinicians, to develop and evaluate interventions that are both effective and acceptable across diverse populations.

His recent publications (2023–2025) reflect a strong trajectory in virtual emergency care, post-fracture care pathways, and health literacy interventions. These works span disciplines such as emergency medicine, cardiology, geriatrics, and public health, demonstrating interdisciplinary impact. Common themes include reducing healthcare disparities, enhancing patient engagement, and leveraging digital tools for better outcomes in chronic disease management.
