Jason Stegemoller

W. Jason Stegemoller is an Associate Professor and Director of the Linguistic Diversity & Equity doctoral program at National Louis University's National College of Education. His expertise spans K-12 bilingual education, second language literacy, and teacher training, informed by international teaching experience across Finland, England, and the U.S.

Research focuses on improving STEM instruction for English learners through tools for educator collaboration and biliteracy development. Recent projects address students with limited formal education (SLIFE) and cross-linguistic practices in mainstream classrooms.

Publications analyze writing instruction for bilingual learners and pragmatic language teaching. Stegemoller has co-directed federal grants like the ESL STEM Success Grant and collaborates with global institutions including UNIVA La Piedad.
