Jason Romney

Jason Romney serves as an Associate Professor and Equine Specialist at Utah State University within the S.J. & Jessie E. Quinney College of Agriculture & Natural Resources. His dual appointments span the Utah Agricultural Experiment Station (UAES) and the Animal, Dairy and Veterinary Sciences Department (ADVS), focusing on extension services and academic instruction.

His research and outreach expertise centers on equine science, with specialization in equine management systems, health optimization, and industry support services. As an Equine Specialist, he develops educational programming for Utah's equine community while advancing practical applications of veterinary science and animal husbandry through the UAES framework.

Romney operates from the Sam Skaggs Family Equine Education Center in Wellsville, Utah, where he bridges academic research with real-world equine industry needs through the university's extension mission.
