Jason Riddle

Jason Riddle is a Professor in the Department of Wildlife Ecology and Management at the University of Wisconsin – Stevens Point since 2009. His roles include teaching, research, and serving as the Gerald and Helen Stephens Professor of Wildlife. He also contributes to extension programs through the Wisconsin Center for Wildlife.

Riddle specializes in avian ecology and conservation, with a focus on upland game birds. His work integrates statistical modeling to analyze wildlife population dynamics and habitat requirements.

He has held leadership positions in professional societies, including serving as President of the Wisconsin Chapter of The Wildlife Society and the North Central Section of The Wildlife Society. His career includes postdoctoral research at North Carolina State University and field technician roles with the US Forest Service.
