Jason Radine is a Professor of Biblical and Jewish Studies at Moravian University. He holds a Ph.D. and M.A. in Near Eastern Studies from the University of Michigan, and a B.A. in Philosophy from the University of Michigan.
His research explores the origins of Israelite/Jewish identity, intra-religious conflict in biblical texts, ancient Near Eastern culture, modern Judaism, ethical issues in religion, and literary prophecy's role in religious/political thought. He investigates how prophetic literature shaped Jewish religious development through textual analysis and historical context.
Radine's archaeological fieldwork includes leading excavations at Ramat Rahel, Israel, and he serves as faculty advisor for Moravian University's Hillel Society.
