Jason R. (Willie) Wilson

Willie Wilson is an Assistant Professor of Computer Science at Franklin & Marshall College (F&M), where he leads the Computation, Affective, Robotic, and Ethical Sciences (CARES) lab. His research focuses on interdisciplinary work at the intersection of computational sciences, affective computing, robotics, and ethical frameworks. The lab engages students in collaborative projects exploring emotion-aware systems, human-robot interaction, and responsible AI development.

Dr. Wilson's research interests span computation, affective computing, robotics, and ethical sciences. At the CARES lab, these domains converge to investigate how technology can better understand and respond to human emotions while adhering to principled design standards.
