Jason Piper

Jason Piper is an Associate Professor at Kingston School of Art (Kingston University), specializing in Learning and Teaching, Leadership and Management, and Professional Practice. He previously served as Head of Dance for 9 years and held a three-year interim Head of School role. His expertise spans performance, education, and occupational psychology.

His research focuses on dance education, leadership in creative industries, and psychological approaches to coaching marginalized groups such as refugees, recovering drug addicts, and victims of FGM. He integrates holistic mind-body strategies into professional practice.

Jason has performed with renowned companies like The Richard Alston Dance Company and Matthew Bourne's New Adventures, and appeared as Bane in *Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix*. He also contributes to courses including Dance BA (Hons) and Dance and Drama BA (Hons).
