Jason Peeler is an Associate Professor in the Department of Human Anatomy and Cell Science at the Max Rady College of Medicine, University of Manitoba. He also holds a cross-appointment in the Faculty of Kinesiology and Recreation Management. His expertise spans musculoskeletal anatomy education and clinical orthopaedics, with research focusing on curriculum design impacts on student learning and the role of exercise in managing knee pathologies like ACL rupture and osteoarthritis.
Dr. Peeler earned his PhD in Human Anatomy and Cell Science from the University of Manitoba (2005), alongside certifications in Athletic Therapy. He has received prestigious teaching awards, including the 2021 Dr. and Mrs. H.H. Saunderson Award for Excellence in Teaching, recognizing his innovative approaches in medical education.
