Jason McDaniel

Jason McDaniel serves as an Associate Professor in the Department of Political Science at San Francisco State University, maintaining office hours in HUM 436 with in-person availability on Tuesdays (1:30-3:00 p.m.) and Zoom sessions on Wednesdays (11:00 a.m.-12:30 p.m.). Professor McDaniel's work investigates Ranked-Choice Voting's impact on voter turnout, ballot errors, and racially polarized voting patterns, while also analyzing the Top Two primary system's effects on female candidates for state legislatures.
