Jason Luther is an Associate Professor in the Department of Writing Arts at Rowan University's Ric Edelman College of Communication & Creative Arts. His research focuses on DIY culture, sound writing, and media literacy, with a particular emphasis on public writing and participatory media practices. He teaches courses such as Methods of Analysis in Writing, Writing, Research, and Technology, and Self-Publishing.
Jason holds a B.A. and B.S. from SUNY Fredonia, an M.A. from the University of Nevada, Reno, and a Ph.D. from Syracuse University. His work has been published in journals like Literacy in Composition Studies, enculturation, and Community Literacy Journal, and he has co-edited special issues on self-publishing and DIY composition.
