Jason Lim is a Senior Lecturer in Asian History at the School of Humanities and Social Inquiry, University of Wollongong. He also serves as a Visiting Scholar at the Asia Pacific Center, UCLA, where his research focuses on Taiwan's role in economic development, industrialization, and agricultural improvement programs with Malaysia, Singapore, and South Vietnam between 1955 and 1975.
Research Interests: His work explores transnational collaborations in post-colonial Asia, emphasizing Taiwan's contributions to regional modernization efforts. This includes analyzing historical intersections between technology transfer, policy frameworks, and socio-economic transformations in Southeast Asia.
