Jason Harrison

Jason Harrison is an Assistant Professor of Business at Goshen College, where he teaches operations management, process innovation, applied learning, and leadership development courses. His work bridges education, industry, and government to address workforce needs through experiential learning and community partnerships.

His educational background includes:

• B.A. in Business, Goshen College
• M.A. in Christian Formation, Associated Mennonite Biblical Seminary
• Ph.D. in Leadership, Andrews University

Harrison specializes in workforce development initiatives spanning manufacturing, financial services, and nonprofit sectors. He has launched large-scale programs including Manufacturing Days for high school students, youth/adult apprenticeship pathways, and Northern Indiana employer collaborations. His teaching philosophy centers on creating transformative learning spaces where students "opt-in" through real-world problem solving, career integration, and employer engagements that connect classroom theory to community practice.

Harrison actively mentors students while serving as Vice President of Pathways for the Horizon Education Alliance (HEA), a Leadership Agility® Certified Coach (Bill Joiner framework), and founder of the Emerging Leaders Workforce Development Program. He also consults for regional nonprofit and education-industry boards, focusing on co-designing learning opportunities that strengthen local economies and expand access to meaningful careers.
