Jason Glenwright is a Lecturer and Course Coordinator of Lighting at the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA), Edith Cowan University. He is an award-winning Lighting Designer with over 300 production credits across theatre, musical theatre, opera, concerts, cabaret, circus, dance, television broadcasts, and puppetry.
- Education: Bachelor of Fine Arts (Technical Production) from Queensland University of Technology (2008), Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (2022).
Jason's work spans national and international stages, including New York's Lincoln Centre and London's SOHO Theatre. He has collaborated with notable companies such as Bell Shakespeare, Queensland Theatre, Opera Queensland, and shake & stir.
Recent Highlights: Lighting design for THE LORD MAYORS CHRISTMAS CAROLS (2021-2022), TAMING OF THE SHREW (2020), and productions like TIDDAS, AN IDEAL HUSBAND, and FRIENDS THE MUSICAL PARODY.
