Jason Foreman

Jason Foreman is a Professor of Scenic Design and Head of Design and Production at Oklahoma City University's Theatre department. He holds an MFA in Scenic Design from California State University, Long Beach, and a BFA in Design & Technical Production from the University of Oklahoma. His career spans over 100 scenic design projects for institutions like TheatreOCU, OCU School of Music, and regional theaters such as Creede Repertory Theatre and Houston Shakespeare Festival.

• Recent designs include Marisol, Enron, To Kill a Mockingbird, and Noises Off for TheatreOCU.
• Recipient of the URTA 2021 Award for Scenic Design Excellence.
• Prior teaching roles at Rice University, Sam Houston State University, and the University of New Orleans.

Active in professional organizations: USITT Conference Committee member (16 years), KCACTF Region VI Co-Chair, and member of United Scenic Artists, Local 829.
