Jason D. Mycoff is an Associate Professor in the Department of Political Science & International Relations at the University of Delaware, part of the College of Arts & Sciences. He has served as Director of Undergraduate Studies since joining the department in 2002. His research focuses on Congress, the presidency, and the judiciary, with specialties in committees, political parties, and interactions between legislative and executive branches. Mycoff teaches courses such as Introduction to American Politics, Congress, American Political Institutions, and Research Methods.
Dr. Mycoff earned his PhD in Political Science from The Ohio State University in 2002. His research emphasizes legislative dynamics, voter behavior, and methodological rigor in political science. Notable works include co-authoring *Political Science Research Methods* (CQ Press, 2019) and studies on voter ID laws, congressional oversight failures, and presidential-congressional leadership.
