Jason D’Mello is an Associate Professor of Entrepreneurship at the LMU College of Business Administration since 2014. He focuses on fostering entrepreneurial leadership through hands-on learning, emphasizing ethical decision-making and community-conscious ventures. He co-developed the award-winning 'Entrepreneurial Acquisitions' course with Ryan Nurnberger, recognized nationally by the USASBE. D’Mello leads LMU’s Business Incubator, supporting student ventures like Liquid I.V., and co-leads LMU Summer Programs’ 'Intro to Entrepreneurship' course for high school students. He holds a Ph.D. in Entrepreneurship from the University of Louisville and an MBA from LMU.
His research spans resilience in entrepreneurship, social enterprise effectiveness, and global entrepreneurial challenges. He has advised technology ventures in education, music, and health, and maintains a career as a record producer in Venice Beach and Louisville.
