Jason Baker

Dr. Jason Baker is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine and Assistant Attending Endocrinologist at Weill Cornell Medicine and NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital. He specializes in global health, diabetes (Type 1 and 2), thyroid diseases, and endocrine conditions in pregnancy. His academic roles include positions in the Department of Medicine and Primary Care divisions.

Dr. Baker’s research focuses on diabetes prevention, global health interventions, and disease management strategies in developing regions. He founded the non-profit organization Marjorie’s Fund to address type 1 diabetes in low-resource settings. His clinical expertise spans endocrinology, with board certifications in Internal Medicine and Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism.

He has held leadership roles in global health initiatives, including lectures at conferences such as the Global Diabetes Alliance and Weill Cornell Medical College Grand Rounds. His career includes residency at NYU Langone Health and a fellowship at Albert Einstein College of Medicine/Montefiore Medical Center.
