Jasminko Novak

Prof. Dr.-Ing. Jasminko Novak is a Professor and Head of the Business Information Systems Department at Stralsund University of Applied Sciences HOST. He serves as Vice-Director of the IACS Institute for Applied Computer Science and leads the CC Human-centered Intelligent Systems & Sustainability research group. His roles include membership in the University's Research Commission.

Research focuses on Human-centered AI, AI for Sustainability, and Digital Innovations. Projects include developing AI tools for sustainable energy management, interactive AI spaces for youth digital sovereignty (iKIDO), and quantum-assisted AI (PLANQK).
