Dr Jasmine Vieri is a Research Associate at the McDonald Institute for Archaeological Research, University of Cambridge. Working within the Department of Archaeology, she integrates computational techniques with traditional artefact analysis to advance our understanding of past human societies.
Research Interests:
- Material culture and its socio-political dimensions
- Computational and quantitative approaches in archaeology
- Artefact technology and provenance studies
- Environmental and geoarchaeological reconstruction of ancient landscapes
Her projects span Africa and the Americas, where she employs spatial analysis, materials-science methods, and digital archaeology to interrogate long-term human–environment interactions.
