Jasmin Jahić is a Research Fellow and Bye-Fellow at Queens' College, University of Cambridge, where she serves as Director of Studies in Computer Science (IB). She is affiliated with the Computer Architecture Group within the Department of Computer Science and Technology.
Dr. Jahić holds an M.Sc. degree in Robotics from Ecole Centrale de Nantes, France (2012) and a PhD from the University of Kaiserslautern, Germany (2020), with a thesis on "Supervised Testing of Embedded Concurrent Software".
Her research focuses on concurrent software systems and software system architectures, with expertise in embedded software architecture, modeling, and simulation. She has extensive experience in establishing and managing large public research projects, including EU-level initiatives. Dr. Jahić also contributes to EU research committees as a manager of a 25-expert team and has served on program committees of high-profile conferences.
Previously, she worked as a project manager and researcher at the Fraunhofer Institute for Experimental Software Engineering (IESE) in Germany from 2013 to 2019. During this period, she was part of the core team for two fully funded EU projects (ECSEL and H2020). From 2018 to 2020, she also coordinated the European Masters Program in Software Engineering (EMSE) at the University of Kaiserslautern.
Dr. Jahić is known for applying her technical expertise to create volunteering projects that empower individuals from disadvantaged backgrounds, demonstrating her commitment to social impact through technology.
