Jarrett Blaustein is an Associate Professor and Director of Education in the School of Regulation and Global Governance (RegNet) at the Australian National University (ANU), within the College of Asia and the Pacific. His research focuses on governance mechanisms during crises, particularly how policing networks adapt to climate-related risks and global security challenges. He has held academic positions at Aberystwyth University (2013–2015) and Monash University (2015–2022) before joining ANU in 2022.
Education: PhD in Law (Criminology) from the University of Edinburgh (2013), MSc in Criminology & Criminal Justice (2009), and MSc in International Relations (2008), both from the University of St Andrews.
